Barns For Sale In Champagne-Ardenne
(including the departments of Ardennes, Aube, Marne and Marne-Haute)
Champagne-Ardenne is in the northeast of France, bordering Belgium. Famous
for its bubbly wine and breathtaking scenery the region is well served by
motorways and rail and at only an hour or so from the English Channel it is
surprising that the area is still relatively undiscovered by the British.
The economy revolves around agriculture and in particular the production of
champagne. The capital of the Champagne-Ardenne, Châlons-en-Champagne, is home to the magnificent, gothic Eglise Notre Dame-en-Vaux.
The climate is comparable to that of the south of England with perhaps
slightly warmer summers.
